Adsterra Guides

Creating an Adsterra publisher account takes about ten minutes: you fill in a short sign-up form, confirm your email, add your website, and wait for a quick review. I run Adsterra on my own sites, and I have helped many students set up their accounts. In this guide, I will walk you through every step, show you what to fill in, and point out the small mistakes that slow people down. By the end, you will have a working account, an approved website, and your first ad code ready to paste. What Is an Adsterra Publisher Account? Adsterra has two types of accounts. Advertisers pay to show ads. Publishers get paid for showing those ads on their websites, blogs, or social traffic. Adsterra's own help center describes a publisher as someone who has a website or another platform and wants to monetize their audience with ads. If you have a blog, a tools site, or a niche website, the publisher side is the one you need. One important note from Adsterra: if you already have an advertiser or affiliate account with them, you must use a different email address for your publisher account. What You Need Before Opening an Adsterra Publisher Account Get these ready before you open the form. It saves time and avoids errors. A working email address that you check often. Approval and payment emails go here. Your real full name. Later, payout details must match your ID and payment account. A messenger account such as Telegram, WhatsApp, or Skype. The form asks for one so the team can contact you. A live website with real content. Adsterra does not accept sites that are under construction or incomplete. A strong password with at least 6 characters, including letters, numbers, and special symbols. You do not need a minimum amount of traffic to join. Adsterra's publisher page says there are no traffic limits to start, and it costs nothing to sign up. How to Create an Adsterra Publisher Account: Step by Step Here is the exact process I follow. It matches the steps in the official Adsterra sign-up guide. Open the publisher sign-up page. Go to adsterra.com and choose to sign up as a Publisher, not as an Advertiser. Fill in your details. Enter your email, first and last name, a unique login, and a password. Add your messenger. Pick a messenger from the list and type your account name or number. Select your country. Choose your country of residence. This matters later, because the payment methods you see depend on it. Accept the terms and click Sign up. Read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, tick the box, and submit. Confirm your email. Open your inbox, find the email titled "Complete your registration as a Publisher" from the Adsterra Team, and click "Confirm e-mail". Sign in. Go to the sign-in page and log in with your login or email and password. That is it. Your Adsterra publisher account is now active, and you will land inside the dashboard. Check your spam folder If the confirmation email does not arrive in a few minutes, check your spam and promotions folders. Mark it as "not spam" so future payout emails reach your inbox. How to Add Your Website and Get It Approved Signing up is only half the job. To use your Adsterra publisher account, you also need to add your website before you can get ad codes. Here is the process from Adsterra's help center. Click Add website at the top of any page, or open the Websites page and click "Add new website". Enter your domain name only, like example.com. Do not add https://, slashes, or special characters. Select the category that best describes your site. Choose the ad units you want, such as Social Bar, Native Banner, Popunder, or a banner size. Click Add. The form also shows an option to enable adult ads. On my education and blogging sites, I keep it off, because I want ads that suit a general audience. Adsterra says the review usually takes just a few minutes, and they update you by email. In my experience it is fast, but always trust the status in your own dashboard. Do I need to add subdomains? No. According to Adsterra, adding your main website is enough. You do not need to add each subdomain separately. Can I delete a website later? There is no option to delete a website from your account, but you can hide it from the list. If you sell a site, the new owner should contact Adsterra support to move it. Which websites Adsterra does not accept Adsterra accepts most websites, but its traffic quality and content rules list clear exceptions. Your site may be rejected if it falls into one of these groups. Not acceptedWhat it means for you Under construction or incomplete sitesPublish real articles first, then apply. Copyright or trademark violationsDo not copy content, movies, or software you do not own. Illegal goods or servicesDrugs, weapons, illegal gambling, and similar topics are banned. Get-rich-quick schemesPonzi and pyramid style content is not allowed. Bot, proxy, or incentive trafficOnly real visitors count. Paying people to click is fraud. Traffic inside iframesAds must load on your real pages, not hidden frames. If your site is clean and has real visitors, approval is usually simple. What to Do Right After Your Account Is Approved Once your website is approved, Adsterra gives you code snippets for each ad unit. Here is what I do next with a new Adsterra publisher account. 1. Place your first ad code Copy the code from the Websites page and paste it into your site. If you use WordPress, my guide on how to add Adsterra ads to WordPress shows the safest ways to do it. 2. Choose the right ad formats Start with one or two formats, not all of them. Too many ads hurt user experience. Read my breakdown of Adsterra ad formats to pick the ones that fit your site. 3. Set up your payout information Open the Payout Information page and choose a payment method. Adsterra says the smallest withdrawal is $5 for methods like Paxum, while PayPal starts at $25 and wire transfer needs $1,000. The full list is in my guide to the Adsterra minimum payout and payment methods. 4. Watch your statistics Check the Statistics tab every few days. Look at impressions, CPM, and revenue by country to learn which pages and formats work best. If you want a guided path from setup to your first payout, my Adsterra course covers account setup, ad placement, and traffic step by step. Common Mistakes When Creating an Adsterra Publisher Account I see the same mistakes again and again. Avoid these and your setup will be smooth. Signing up as an advertiser by mistake. Always pick the Publisher option. Using a fake or nickname. Your payout details must match your ID later, so use your real name from day one. Choosing the wrong country. Payment options depend on your country, so pick where you actually live. Adding the full URL instead of the domain. Type example.com, not https://www.example.com/page. Applying with an empty site. Publish helpful content first. Incomplete sites are not accepted. Buying cheap traffic. Bot and incentive traffic break the rules and can get your account blocked. Putting too many ads on one page. It annoys visitors and lowers your long-term earnings. Tips to get the most from your new account Use a separate email for your Adsterra publisher account to keep payment emails organised. Turn on two-step security for that email account. Focus on growing real traffic. My guide on how to get traffic for Adsterra explains safe methods. Test one change at a time, such as a new ad position, and compare results after a week. Contact Adsterra live chat if something looks wrong. Their support is quick. Adsterra Publisher Account FAQs Is an Adsterra publisher account free? Yes. Adsterra says it costs $0 to monetize a website, and there are no fees to sign up as a publisher. How long does Adsterra website approval take? Adsterra says website review usually takes just a few minutes, and you get an email update. Some sites may take longer if they need a manual check. Is there a minimum traffic requirement? No. Adsterra states there are no traffic limits to start. However, your site must be complete and have a real audience, not an empty or unfinished site. Can I use the same email for an advertiser and a publisher account? No. Adsterra asks you to use a different email address if you already have an advertiser or affiliate account with them. Can I create an account from Pakistan? Yes. You select your country during sign-up, and the payment methods shown in your account will depend on that country. Conclusion Opening an Adsterra publisher account is quick and free. Sign up as a publisher, confirm your email, add a complete website, and wait a few minutes for approval. After that, place one or two ad codes, set up your payout details, and focus on real traffic. Take it one step at a time, follow the rules, and your account will grow with your site. Results vary.
